Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
Chandigarh - Shimla (115 kms - approx 3½ hrs drive)
Morning pick up from Chandigarh Hotel (08:30AM) and transfer to Shimla. Shimla is capital of himachal former capital of Britishers also set amidst, the snow copper, shaivalik mountains which offer some of the most beautiful view of Himalaya. Reach there and check in to hotel. After freshenup, proceed for Shimla local sightseeing. Visit famous shopping place of Shimla town – “THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo – Tudor library building- are worth seeing. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Shimla.

Day 2
Shimla
After breakfast Proceed for Kufri. India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Shimla.
Day 3
Shimla – Manali via Kullu

Manali (Rohtang Pass & Atal Tunnel on your own)
Full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass -(tourist spot in himalaya having snow all 12 months) is the most visited tourist spot in Himalaya having snow round the year (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Solang Valley. You can also visit Atal Tunnel. Atal Tunnel has officially been certified by World Book of Records, as the ‘World’s Longest Highway Tunnel above 10,000 Feet’. Evening return to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.

Day 6
Manali – Dharamshala (240km and 7hrs)
After breakfast leave for Dharmshala. On the way view of snow covered dhauladhar range, and amazing view of hills Mecleodganj.
This city, surrounded by dense coniferous forests from all sides, is located in the Kangra Valley. A walk in the lush green surroundings of this valley offers a delightful experience. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time. Later you can visit local market. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Dharamshala
Day 8
Dharamshala – Dalhousie (130km and 4 hrs)
Today after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed towards Dalhousie. After check in hotel and taking some rest, proceed to Khajjiar. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays but this species can be spotted here. Check-in at the hotel in Dalhousie for overnight stay.
ABOUT KHAJJIAR: Often called India’s Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km. Along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to KhajjI Nag. Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers.

Day 9
Dalhousie – Amritsar (190kms – 5hrs) enroute Kartarpur Corridor
Today morning after breakfast drive to Amritsar. Enroute visit Kartarpur Corridor (195kms – 4 ½ hrs approx). On arrival at Amritsar Check-in to hotel. If time permits you can visit Golden temple which is very near to your hotel. You will love to see night view of Golden temple. Return to hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10
Amritsar sightseeing and Railway Station Drop
After breakfast check out from hotel. Visit some Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. Have lunch and Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. After that take your dinner at some restaurant and reach Railway station for return journey to Surat with sweet memories.
