Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
Bangalore – Mysore (150 kms – 3 ½ hrs appx)
On Arrival at Banglore Airport our representative will meet you and transfer to Mysore. After check in relax for a while before proceeding on a sightseeing trip of Mysore. visit Chamundi Hills (temple dedicated to goddess Chamundi), Nandi Statue, Wax Museum, Mysore Zoo, Mysore Palace, St. Philominas Church, Tippu Summaer Palace, Ranganath Swamy Temple, Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2
Mysore – Wayanad (140 kms – 3 ½ hrs appx)
After breakfast, check out from hotel. Explore the city and the local market. Then start journey towards Wayanad. Enroute can visit Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National park. Check in at hotel. After some rest visit Tea gardens, Mattupetty Reservoir, Kundala Dam and Tea Museum. You will also visit Echo point where one can clearly hear their loud voice echoing within the reservoir. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Wayanad
Today morning after breakfast proceed for a local sightseeing in Wayanad visit Soochipara Waterfalls, the famous Edakkal Caves, Banasura sagar dam, Meenmutty Waterfall, Pookode lake, Heritage Museum, Wayanad Sultanbathery temple, Pazhassi raja tomb & museum, Phantom rock etc. Later drive back to hotel, dinner & stay overnight in Wayanad.
Day 4
Wayanad – Ooty (120kms – 3 ½ hrs appx)
Today Morning after breakfast start drive to Ooty better known as the queen of hill stations. At a height of 2,240m, Ooty is loved for its salubrious climate & scenic beauty on arrival check in to the hotel. Either you can enjoy activities at Hotel or can visit the Dodabetta peak, Shooting spots & can go for shopping. Dinner & stay overnight in Hotel at Ooty.
Day 5
Ooty
Today Morning after breakfast drive to Ooty Train station to enjoy the Toy train ride (Optional) from Ooty to Coonoor, toy train ride in Ooty is an another major attraction in Ooty, this train path in mountain region was formed during British period and now it becomes a major attraction for tourists, while travelling in the train you can view the beautiful sceneries presented in the hill station, it must be a pleasant experience for those whoever take this toy train ride, up on arrival you can visit proceed for Coonoor sightseeing visit Lambs rock, dolphin nose and then return back to Ooty. Stay overnight in Ooty.
Day 6
Ooty
Today after breakfast proceed on a sightseeing trip of Ooty. The Botanical Gardens, this beautiful garden has spread over 55 acres, the garden is a home to several rare species of trees such as the cork tree (the only one of its kind in India), the paper bark tree and the monkey puzzle tree, so named because monkeys cannot climb it! Also to be found are the remnants of a fossilized tree estimated to be some 20 million years old! Then you can visit the famous Rose garden which was set up in 1955 to commemorate the 100th flower show of the botanical garden, it has the largest collection of roses in the country of over 2500 varieties.
Later you can drive to Ooty lake This is artificial lake which was created by John Sullivan, the first district collector of Udhagamandalam in 1824, the boating will starts from 0900AM to 0600PM on all days in the lake. A wide range of boats are available at the boat house to suit varied tastes and budgets. A mini garden with an amusement park for children and a toy train are added attractions here. The Dodabetta Peak, The Rose Garden etc are covered in this trip. Overnight Stay at the Hotel/Resort in Ooty.
Day 8
Ooty – Coimbatore Airport (100kms – 3hrs appx)
After the breakfast, pack your baggage with a promise of coming back again to this memorable holiday package. Check-out from the hotel and proceed to Coimbatore Airport on time to board your flight/train with a lot of sweet memories of your holidays….
