COCHIN PICKUP – MUNNAR (3N) – THEKKADY (1N) – KOVALAM(2N) – POOVAR (1N) – TRIVENDRUM DROP
Day 1
Cochin Airport – Munnar (100kms – 3.5hrs approx)
On your arrival at Cochin international Airport, meet the driver to welcome & receive you. Arrange the baggage and then drive towards your first destination of the trip – Munnar.
Munnar is a popular hill station and tourist destination in the Idukki district of Kerala, India, known for its lush tea plantations, cool climate, and stunning landscapes in the Western Ghats mountain range. This Munnar tour begins with a scenic road trip, driving alongside the vast stretches of tea plantations, beautiful colonial bungalows. This road trip will enroute via spice plantations and beautiful of Valara and Cheeyappara Falls.
You will reach Munnar in the evening. Check in to resort. Today is free to enjoy the activities, beautiful views and atmosphere of the resort.

Day 2
Munnar
After having delicious breakfast and proceed for sightseeing in Munnar.
You can cover below sightseeing places in 2 days in Munnar. You can plan with driver as per timings.

Day 3
Munnar
After breakfast, spend the day in local sightseeing as shown above in Munnar.
Proceed back for Overnight stay at the resort in Munnar.
Day 4
Munnar – Thekkady (85kms – 2.5 / 3 hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast, check out from resort and start the journey to Thekkady. Drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations. Throughout this journey you can enjoy different type of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla etc.
Check into hotel.
After rest, you have below activities to do:-
– Boating in Periyar lake, which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve.
You can do boating in early morning also to avoid rush.
– Jeep Safari / Jungle Safari (paid by own)
– Enjoy Cultural show – Kathakali & Martial Art Show (paid)
– Local Market in evening

Day 5
Thekkady – Kovalam via Jatayu Earth’s Centre
After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Jatayu Earth’s Centre (160kms – 4hrs approx).
The Jatayu Earth’s Center is home to the world’s largest bird sculpture stands at an altitude of 350 m above mean sea level. To get to the top, there is a cable car, and it is the only cable car in Kerala. If you prefer taking an adventurous track, you can climb 826 steps to reach the top. It will take 1-2 hrs depends on traffic.
After enjoying at Jatayu, proceed towards Kovalam. (66kms – 2 hrs approx).
On arrival here, check-in to the resort. Relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the private beach access by the property. Enjoy the Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 6
Kovalam
After having breakfast, visit Sri Padmanbhaswamy Temple (11kms – ½ hour approx).
Dress:
Male: Lungi / Dhoti. Should not wear shirt
Women / Girls: Saree / you can wrap dupatta below the waist.
Note: Mobile / Leather belt / wallet / Cameras / Any electronic items are not allowed inside the temple. You can deposit all things at the counters outside the temple.
If time permits you can visit light house beach on the same day or next day on the way to Poovar.
Light house at this beach is open for the visitors. The lighthouse offers a lift up to the 8th floor, with stairs leading to the top after that. At the top, you will get amazing view of Kovalam beach and sea.
Light house timings:
10 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM, but it is closed on Mondays.
After return back to the resort, enjoy and relax in the evening.
Day 7
Kovalam – Poovar (20kms – 45mins drive)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive towards Poovar Island.
Enroute visit Azhimala Shiva Temple. This temple is dedicated to Shiva, the temple is known for the 18 m tall Gangadhareshwara sculpture, which is the tallest Shiva sculpture in Kerala.
Check in at resort near Poovar backwaters. Resort will provide a great planned boat ride in poovar backwaters, opening out to the Arabian sea and a dream golden sand beach. which will be your best memorable boat ride.

Day 8
Poovar – Trivandrum Airport drop (30kms – 1hour approx)
As per your flight timings, check out in early morning.
You will get packed breakfast from resort.
Drive towards Trivandrum Airport.
You will be timely dropped to the Airport and have great return journey with sweet memories of your trip.
